Seascapes

Stretching for more than 7,700 miles, the UK coastline is a landscape in constant motion. From rugged cliffs and secluded coves to sweeping beaches and dramatic headlands, the sea is never quite the same twice. This ever-changing character is what makes photographing the coast so captivating. The location may remain familiar, but the elements are constantly shifting. Tides rise and fall, waves reshape the shoreline, clouds transform the light, and the weather can completely alter the mood of a scene. Even returning to the same place can reveal something entirely new.
