Well... Hello There

Welcome to Thomas Snowdon Photography. My world of Landscapes, Seascapes & Woodlands.

For those of you who haven't heard of me, I'm Thomas Snowdon. I am an outdoor photographer based in one of the UK's most inspiring places, Cornwall. While I enjoy chasing the waves and sunset, I spend a lot of time venturing across the border into Devon's mystic woodlands and vast moorland. As you explore my website and read my post, you will see my photos range from Stormy Seas & Dramatic Storms to Calm Seas & Tranquil Ancient Woodlands. These are my sanctuaries, my escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

What is this all about?

Excellent question, I have created this as a place to connect with my audience through my website. I know through social media, some of you find my descriptions behind the photographs interesting; however, I feel I sometimes say too little or not enough, keeping my posts brief. Through this blog, I want to delve deeply into my personal approach, looking at what goes on behind the scenes on a shoot and really bring my photos to life.

What to Expect?

This is going to be a journey (not keen on using that word, feels like therapy), my idea is to create stories that put my photographs into context. From me, you can expect a bit of behind-the-scenes and on-location posts, perhaps sometimes looking into the old folklore of places and of what they used to believe in. I love stories, which I guess is what I am trying to get across through my photography.
